2020 (Senior): Played in 11 games with two starts before the campaign was cut short by the COVID-19 global pandemic … Started at second base in the season opener versus Iowa (Feb. 7), scoring a run and drawing two walks … Recorded her first and only hit of the year against Campbell (Feb. 9) in East Carolina’s 4-1 win over the Camels.
2019 (Junior): Played in 48 contests with 47 starts – all at second base … Batted most often in the eight hole but the team was 10-6 when she hit in the fifth, sixth or seventh spots in the lineup … Produced four multi-hit and three multi-RBI efforts … Recorded a double and two RBI in the Pirates’ season-opening victory over Youngstown State (Feb. 8) … Went 2-for-3 with two RBI in a 14-5 run-rule win over Towson (Feb. 9) … Tallied two hits and three RBI versus Campbell (March 6) in a 9-2 ECU victory … Posted two hits, a run scored and a RBI in East Carolina’s 12-5 triumph at Florida Atlantic (March 8) … Rapped out two hits with a run scored and a RBI at George Mason (March 17) as the Pirates topped the Patriots by a 7-2 margin.
2018 (Sophomore): Played and started in 53 games as the Pirates’ regular second baseman ... Finished third on the squad in batting average (.273) with 36 hits in 132 at bats ... Stole six bases in nine attempts ... Produced eight multi-hit efforts ... Ended the campaign on a six-game hitting streak, including a pair of base knocks in the series finale against Wichita State (April 29) ... Drove in a season-high three runs in ECU’s run-rule victory over Arkansas-Pine Bluff (March 9).
2017 (Freshman): Played in 34 games and made her lone start of the season at second base against Youngstown State ... Collected five runs scored ... Stole her only base of the campaign versus Seton Hall (March 5).
High School: Earned First-Team All-State honors her final three seasons of her prep career and played on the varsity squad all four years … Helped lead the Eagles to a pair of state playoff appearances as a sophomore and senior while hitting .426 with 20 RBI her junior campaign … As a freshman, was named to the all-conference and all-state second teams … Played her club softball for her father Joe Ziemba as a member of the Delaware Cobras … In addition to softball, earned four varsity letters in volleyball as a libero … Named Student of the Month and garnered the Sportsmanship Award.
