Pirates Announce 2026 Fall Ball Schedule

GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina softball team will play four games this fall inside Max R. Joyner Family Stadium as part of its 2026 Fall Ball schedule which was announced on Monday afternoon.
The Pirates face Pitt Community College on Sept. 19 at noon at home before visiting NC State (Sept. 24) and hosting UNCW (Sept. 27) to close the month of September.
ECU opens October up with a trip to UNCW (Oct. 3) followed by a home contest against NC State (Oct. 4) and a trip to Campbell (Oct. 11). The Pirates close out their eight-game fall schedule at Duke (Oct. 16) and at home against Elon (Oct. 25).
The Pirates return 16 players from last season's team that won a program-record 16 American Conference games and made its first-ever title game appearance in the American Softball Championship. All-Conference Team members Kanisha Anderson, Julia Apostolakos and Sydney Rainford headline the returners for ECU, joining other key returners in Sarah Stone, Trinity Nichols, Taylor Apple, Gabby Fowler and Jenna Krol.
ECU welcomes in seven new faces to its 2027 roster, including four transfers in Jade Bubke, Ansley Bennett, Reece Outlaw and Andee Dircks as well as three first-year players in Chloe Chappell, Bella Moussa and Maddie Murphy.
