Brent Noble enters his first year with the Pirates after a successful season as an assistant coach at DePauw University in Greencastle, Ind. At DePauw, Noble primarily worked with the sprint and stroke swimmers. He helped the team obtain a conference title and five swimmers advance to the NCAA Division III Championship meet. Along with his duties at DePauw, Noble also coached a team of post-collegiate swimmers for the Counsilman Center Swim Team in Bloomington, Indiana. The swimmers won numerous
Indiana State Championships individual titles and achieved multiple Senior National cuts.
In addition to these most recent coaching positions, Noble has accumulated six years of coaching experience at various levels including high school, middle school, age group, collegiate club swimming, swim camps, and masters swimming. The Terre Haute, Ind. native was also a four-year swimmer and senior-year captain at Eastern Illinois University. He is currently finishing a Master[apos]s degree from Indiana University in exercise physiology. He spent the last two years studying in the Counsilman Center for the Science of Swimming under Dr. Joel Stager.
