- Track Volunteer Assistant Coach - Sprints/Hurdles
A former East Carolina track standout, Quinton Harley begins his first year as a volunteer assistant coach. Harley will work primarily with the sprinters and hurdlers.
A two-year letterwinner at ECU, Harley finished his collegiate career as a two-time East Regional Qualifier in the men[apos]s 400-meter hurdles. While donning Purple and Gold, Harley won the 2012 men[apos]s 400-meter hurdles at the Conference USA Outdoor Championships. That same year, he helped the men[apos]s 4x100-meter relay squad capture the C-USA Outdoor Championships. During his time at ECU, Harley was a participant at the NCAA Division I National Championships and earned an Honorable Mention All-America selection for his performance in the men[apos]s 400-meter hurdles. He also guided the men[apos]s 4x200-meter relay team to a first-place finish at the Penn Relay IC4A with a time of 1:25.10.
Prior to coming to Greenville, Harley was a two-year letterwinner at Lake Erie College where he earned NCAA Division II All-American status in 2011 in the men[apos]s 400-meter intermediate hurdles as well as the 4x400-meter relays. He was also the 2011 GLIAC Champion in the men[apos]s 400-meter hurdles.
A native of Rochester, N.Y., Harley lettered in both track and football at Rochester High School where he was a five-time All-America selection. Harley will graduate with a Bachelor[apos]s Degree in sports management in December 2013.
