Brenda Perkins joined the athletics media relations staff in July 2018 as the administrative assistant after serving in a similar capacity for the women's basketball staff since June of 2004.
Perkins, who has previously lived in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., and the Bronx, N.Y., assists with the daily operations of the department to ensure operational efficiency.
Prior to joining the Pirates, Perkins enjoyed working in a prestigious law firm, 10 years in hospital administration, and eight years for the City University of New York.
She resides in Winterville with her son Brandon, daughter Jasmine, granddaughter Ashley and grandson Sean.
