Hogan was hired as Assistant Lacrosse Coach at East Carolina in Nov. 2023.

In 2025, Hogan helped the Pirates to an overall record of 7-10 while setting a program record for American Athletic Conference wins with a 4-2 mark in league play. In so doing, the Pirates made the conference tournament where they faced South Florida. The team made a habit of playing close games on the year with eight one-goal games, nearly working their way to an even better record.

The 2025 season also saw the Pirates achieve several individual honors under Hogan's guidance. Emma Magazu and Kayla Wilkes became the first ECU players ever to win player of the year honors as they were named American Defensive Player of the Year and American Midfielder of the Year, respectively. Both players were named unanimously to the All-Conference First Team while four other players earned Second-Team nods. Additionally, Magazu became just the third player in program history to earned IWLCA All-Region honors with South Region Second Team recognition.
In Hogan's first season with ECU, the team compiled a 4-12 final record while breaking numerous records along the way, including the program's single-season ground ball record and many individual career marks. Three players to All-Conference recognition with Caroline Kimel taking First-Team honors and Ellie Bromley and Alexandra Giacolone taking Second-Team accolades. Throughout the season, individuals were also named to the AAC Weekly Honor Roll on eight occasions.
Prior to East Carolina, Hogan made a stop at Roger Williams University where helped guide the team to three consecutive Commonwealth Coast Conference Tournament titles and NCAA Tournament appearances in 2021, '22 and '23. Hogan also helped coach RWU players to IWLCA All-American honors in 2021 and 2023, the first two All-American recognitions in program history.

Prior to RWU, Hogan spent the 2019 season as an assistant coach at Bridgewater State. The team finished with a 12-5 overall record that season, going 5-1 in the MASCAC and finishing second in the conference.

Prior to her coaching career, Hogan was a standout player at Roger Williams. She was a two-time Commonwealth Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Year and a two-time IWLCA All-Pilgrim Region Second Team selection. In her senior year, she broke her own single-season points record with 115. She finished her career tied for the RWU program all-time record for goals scored with 220 and set the new record for career points with 359.
