Kozlowski's responsibilities will include coaching the outfield, overseeing conditioning, and assisting in recruiting.
"Coach Koz has elevated our conditioning and outfield play to a whole new level," Kee said. "Her addition to our staff has been one of positive change. She brings and abundance of energy, knowledge, and coaching passion to the table."
Kozlowski was previously at Towson University, where she served as an assistant for the softball team for one year, and the basketball team for two. She also spent two years as an assistant with the George Mason softball program prior to being at Towson.
Before her coaching stints at the college level, Kozlowski spent three years at Smith Academy High School in Hatfield, Mass. While at Smith Academy, she worked with the varsity softball team for three seasons, serving as head coach for one of those years. She also served as the assistant varsity and head junior varsity coach for the basketball team for two years.
In 1992, Kozlowski earned a B.S. in exercise science from Hofstra University where she was a member of the basketball and softball teams for four seasons. As a sophomore, she was honored as the Most Improved Player on the Pride basketball team, the same award she received for softball as a freshman. Her senior year, Kozlowski was named an all-conference selection while also earning honors as a GTE Academic All-District Selection.
She was also honored with Hofstra's Dr. Sylvia J. Giallombardo Award for academic and athletic excellency, one of the most prestigious awards given at Hofstra.
After graduating from Hofstra, Kozlowski enrolled in the University of Massachusetts, Amherst where she earned a master's degree in exercise physiology in 1995.
In 1996, she was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame at Notre Dame High School in Elmira, NY. During her four years at Notre Dame, she earned 12 varsity letters as a member of basketball, softball, soccer, track, and volleyball teams.
