ECU Women's Tennis Advances In NC State Invitational

ECU is one of 12 teams competing. Included in the field are athletes from Radford, Davidson, Charleston Southern, NC State, Armstrong Atlantic, Western Carolina, Winthrop, Stetson, Hampton, Charlotte, and UNC Wilmington.
The Lady Pirates posted victories in four singles matches. Lyndall Jordan, Paulina Sierpinski, Emily Kohl, and Christina Meilicke all advanced in bracket play. In doubles, Jordan and Sierpinski combined for a 8-0 win over their counterparts from Western Carolina, while newcomers Raluca Baicu and Kirsten Buchanan also won 8-0 against a pair of Lady Catamounts.
