Women's Tennis Sweeps Elon Doubles

The Lady Pirates eased through the competition in the four-team tournament, which included teams from Elon, High Point, and Appalachian State.
ECU's tandems of Raluca Baicu/Kirsten Buchanan, Paulina Sierpinski/Lyndall Jordan, and Emily Kohl/Christina Meilicke each won three matches in the event.
On the men's side, East Carolina won five of six doubles matches while playing against High Point, Elon, and UNC Wilmington. The Pirates' top duo of Charl Meyer/Brad Sullivan were victorious in all three of their matches.
