Williams Earns Conference USA Swimmer of the Week Honor

GREENVILLE, N.C. - East Carolina's Holly Williams earned C-USA Swimmer of the Week
honors announced by the league office Tuesday after placing first in the 200 butterfly
and 200 backstroke against Louisville Monday afternoon.
Williams, a sophomore from Palmyra, N.Y., led East Carolina to a 174-109 victory over Louisville on Monday. Williams won the 200 butterfly with a conference-best time of 2:05.04, while also claiming the 200 backstroke crown (2:05.55). The Pirates, who are the defending C-USA Champions, posted the top-three times in four events and won 12 of the 16 events against the Cardinals.
Houston's Azul Almazan, who swept the springboard events against North Texas, claimed Diver of the Week accolades.
