Hicks, Parker Earn C-USA Weekly Honors

GREENVILLE, N.C. - Junior Diane Parker earned Conference USA Swimmer of the Week honors and sophomore Lucy Hicks earned C-USA Diver of the Week honors announced by the league office Tuesday.
Parker, last season's C-USA Swimmer of the Year, led the Pirates in a 150-92 win over Davidson last Saturday. She won two events, capturing the 200-yard freestyle (1:56.06) and 100 butterfly (56.63) events, while helping the 400-medley relay team to a first-place showing. Parker's time in the 100 fly (56.63) is a conference best this season.
Hicks swept the springboard events for the Pirates in dual-meet action against Davidson last weekend. She finished first on the one-meter board (192.30) while also winning the three-meter board with a score of 211.05.
ECU returns to action Saturday when it hosts George Washington and Duke at 2 p.m. in the MInges Aquatic Center
