GREENVILLE, N.C. --- Sophomore forward Corey Rouse has been suspended indefinitely from the East Carolina basketball team for violation of team policy, according to an announcement made today by head coach Bill Herrion.
Rouse, a 6-7 sophomore from Kinston, averaged 5.5 points and 4.8 rebounds during the first four games of the season. He grabbed a career-high 11 rebounds in the season opener against Campbell and chipped in a career-high 11 points in the second of the year versus UNC Pembroke.
ECU is 3-1 this season heading into Saturday's game at Seton Hall. Tip-off is scheduled for 12 noon at the Continental Airlines Arena.
