Seven ECU Swimmers Headed to U.S. Open

Seven East Carolina swimmers made individual U.S. Open cuts during the fall season and will compete in the nation's fastest tournament starting Thursday, Dec. 2 and concluding Saturday, Dec. 4 in San Antonio, Texas.
The U.S. Open will feature the fastest swimmers in the U.S. as well as the top international competitors. Representing ECU on the women's side is senior captain Diane Parker, junior Holly Williams and sophomore Kate Gordon. Senior captains Casey Cronin and Kelly Hendrick will represent the men along with fellow classmate Gavin Stark and freshman Josh Barthlow.
The men and women have set numerous records this season and have a combined dual meet record of 11-1 heading into the winter break.
