
Men's Tennis Edges High Point, 4-3

HIGH POINT, N.C. -- East Carolina fought back from behind to take four of six singles matches, including the clincher in a dramatic third-set tiebreaker to edge High Point, 4-3, Saturday at the Millis Center Tennis Complex.
The Pirates improve to 10-2, while the Panthers drop to 8-2. The loss marks the first two-match losing streak for High Point in more than two years.
Gerard Galindo rallied down a set and won the second and third sets in tiebreakers over HPU's Robert Lindhe to clinch the match for the Pirates.
High Point won all three doubles matchs and got singles victories from Chris Archer and Thomas Sjoberg, but ECU recorded victories from Charl Meyer, Paulo Baumer, Felipe Fonseca and Galindo to record their 10th victory of the season.
