ECU-UNCW Rained Out Again

GREENVILLE, N.C. ? East Carolina's game with UNC Wilmington has been postponed due to inclement weather in the Eastern Carolina area. Rain forced the game to be delayed going into the top of the fourth inning with UNCW ahead, 1-0. No make-up dates have been announced.
It is the second time this season a game scheduled between the Seahawks and the Pirates have bee postponed due to rain.
UNC Wilmington used an unearned run to take an early, 1-0, lead in the top of the second. After Aaron Smith and Tim Preston drew walks to lead off the inning and advanced one base on a pass ball, Brad Denson flied out in foul territory to right field bringing in the first run of the game.
No. 14 ECU will now head to Cincinnati for a three-game Conference USA series this weekend. Game times for this weekend's series have been modified. Friday's game is scheduled for 3 p.m. with Saturday's game set for 4 p.m. Sunday's finale will be played at 1 p.m.
