Pirate Sports Network Expanded For Baseball Postseason

Greenville, N.C. --- An additional four radio stations will broadcast all East Carolina baseball games during the Conference USA and NCAA Tournament announced Director of Electronic Media Jeff Charles on Monday.
In addition to WGHB AM 1250 in Greenville, fans will be able to listen to games on stations across eastern North Carolina. The games will be carried on radio stations WJCV AM 1290 (Jacksonville), WRMT AM 1490 (Rocky Mount), WWGP AM 1050 (Sanford), and WIAM AM 900 (Williamston). Charles will call the play-by-play for each of the Pirates' postseason games, while former ECU head coach Gary Overton will serve as the color analyst.
Top-seeded East Carolina will begin its quest for the 2004 Conference USA Tournament title Wednesday against eighth-seeded Louisville at 5 p.m. EST. Radio coverage is scheduled to begin a 4:40 p.m. EST.
