Men's Tennis Earns Two Wins Over the Weekend

Before traveling back to Greensboro to face N.C. A&T, the Pirates began the day with a tough match against High Point. The Panthers claimed the doubles point, but ECU won four of the six singles matches to claim the victory. All six singles matches were decided in straight sets with Paulo Baumer winning at No. 1, Henrique Viana at No. 3, Nick Rose at No. 5, and Robert Stasch at No. 6.
The Pirates carried their momentum into the match against N.C. A&T, sweeping the doubles point and earning five singles victories. Baumer, Rose and Stasch each won for a second time on the day with Darren Mansell and Florian Tremmel also claiming victories.
ECU returns to action on Tuesday at 1 p.m. against Campbell in Cary, N.C.
