Field Set For 2005 Pinehurst Invitational

GREENVILLE, N.C. -- The East Carolina University men's golf team will host the First Annual Pinehurst Invitational golf tournament next Monday and Tuesday, March 28-29. The tournament is being held at the par-72, 7,035-yard Centennial Pinehurst No. 8 Golf Course in Pinehurst, N.C.
The Pirates (60-56-4) are one of 12 schools participating in this year's event along with: Akron, Bowling Green, Indiana, Marquette, Richmond, St. John's, Southern Methodist, Southern Miss, UNC Wilmington, Washington State and Xavier.
First round action is scheduled for Monday morning at approximately 8 a.m. with second round action immediately following. Final round play is set for Tuesday morning.
