
Pirates Finish In Third At Cutter Creek Intercollegiate

SNOW HILL, N.C. – The East Carolina men's golf team finished in third place at the Cutter Creek Intercollegiate sponsored by Drip Golf with a final score of 857 (7-under). The three-day, 54 hole event was being played at the Cutter Creek Golf playing 7,280 yards (par 72).

Sophomore Luke Mosley was the Pirates' top finisher with a 6-under par 210 (67-73-70) posting a score o 210 and finishing tied for third place. Junior Nathan O'Neal (71-71-72) and freshman Oscar Crowe (70-72-71) claimed a share of eighth place after carding a score of 214 (2-under).

Junior Drew O'Neal (69-77-74) finished tied for 20th after posting a 4-over 220, while senior Philip Linberg Bondestad claimed a share of 39th (74-78-73) after carding a 7-over par 225. Playing as individuals were freshman Josh Davies (t29/222), sophomore Holden Rucker (t64/232) and senior Davis DeLille (t72/234).

Campbell and Elon (855/9-under) both had the top team scores, but the Fighting Camels won the team title with due to playoff rules. ECU placed third followed by Harvard (874/10-over) and Fairleigh Dickerson (878/14-over) rounding out the Top 5.

The Pirates will close out the regular season on Monday, April 6 participating in the Gile-Spratley Collegiate in Richmond, Va.
