ECU Concludes Regular Season At Giles-Spratley Collegiate

MIDLOTHIAN, Va. – The East Carolina men's golf team wrapped up the regular season finishing in 14th place at the Giles-Spratley Collegiate. The two-day, 54-hole event was being held at the Independence Golf Club (par-72, 7,135 yards).

Junior Nathan O'Neal registered his third consecutive Top 20 finish after posting a 2-under par 214 (72-69-73) for a share of 17th place. Fellow classmate Drew O'Neal (74-69-77) and senior Philip Linberg Bondestad (76-68-76) both carded scores of 220 (4-over) finishing tied for 45th.

Senior Davis DeLille, who played as an individual, claimed a share of 65th at 9-over par with a score of 225 (74-75-76), while junior Holden Rucker (78-76-75=229/13-over) and junior Adam Lennermark (75-78-77=230/14-over) finished tied for 74th and 76th.

College of Charleston (835) won the team title finishing 13 shots ahead of Florida Golf Coast (848). Liberty (853) took third followed by host Richmond (855) and North Alabama (858) rounding out the Top 5. ECU carded scores of 300, 281 and 301 finishing 18-over par (882).

ECU will return to action on Monday, April 27 participating in The American Championships in Sarasota, Fla.
