Baumer Named Third Team All-Conference USA

IRVING, Texas --- East Carolina senior Paulo Baumer was named third team All-Conference USA as voted upon by the league's 12 head coaches announced league officials Thursday. Baumer becomes the second men's tennis player in ECU's four-year membership in the league to earn all-conference honors.
A native of Joinville, Brazil, Baumer compiled an overall singles mark of 21-12 this past season. As the Pirates' top player, Baumer played 19 matches at No. 1 singles and posted a 11-8 mark in dual match play, including a 2-2 mark against C-USA opponents.
Baumer won his final five matches of the year to end his career with a singles' record of 75-43.
