
Pirate Divers Compete At The Georgia Invitational

ATHENS, Ga. --- East Carolina senior diver Christie Icenhower placed ninth on the three-meter diving board Friday on the final day of competition at the Georgia Diving Invitational.
Icenhower tallied a score of 252.20 in the three-meter finals. She also participated in the one-meter diving competition posting a score of 187.70, but didn't qualify for the finals.
Freshman Bekah Juarez also competed in the two-day event. She tallied a score of 129.25 on the three-meter board and 120.25 on the one-meter board, but fell short of reaching the finals in both events.
Senior Ryan Hunt and freshman Josh Gonzalez competed in the men's events. Hunt scored a 233.60 on the three-meter board, while Gonzalez posted a score of 211.30. The duo also competed in the one-meter diving competition with Hunt scoring a 216.10 and Gonzalez tallying a 198.95 score. Neither advanced to the finals of either competition.
Peter Bradyhouse and Matt Larson also competed on the one-meter board. Bradyhouse was awarded a score of 183.20 by the judges, while Larson earned a score of 128.70
