ECU Set To Co-Host Pinehurst Intercollegiate

GREENVILLE, N.C. - The East Carolina University golf team will play co-host, along with Indiana University, to the 2008 Pinehurst Intercollegiate Tournament, March 16-18 at historic Pinehurst No. 8 which will feature 18 holes each day.
Sunday's first round is scheduled to begin with tee times at 8 a.m., and live scoring is available at www.golfstat.com. The second round is scheduled for 8 a.m. tee times, while the final round is slated for a Tuesday 9 a.m. shotgun start.
In addition to the host schools other participants include: Ball State, Eastern Kentucky, Hartford, IUPUI, Marquette, Marshall, Miami (Ohio), Penn State, St. Mary's, UNC Greensboro, UNC Wilmington, Western Illinois and Wisconsin.
Indiana won team the 2007 Pinehurst Intercollegiate team title. Co-host East Carolina finished in 12th place.
