Softball Series Finale In Memphis Rained Out

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Due to inclement weather, the final game of a three-game softball series between East Carolina and Memphis on Sunday has been canceled. The game will not be rescheduled as the Pirates remain at 32-25 overall and 8-11 in conference play.
This is the second-straight year the series finale with the Tigers has been canceled due to weather.
ECU will head to Blacksburg, Va. on Tuesday for their final road and nonconference contests of 2008 as they battle No. 18 Virginia Tech in a doubleheader at the Hokie Softball Park. Game one is scheduled for 3 p.m.
