Revised Schedule for C-USA Baseball Championship

NEW ORLEANS, La. - Due to heavy rains all day in the New Orleans area, the final three games from Thursday have all been postponed. The schedule of games for Friday and Saturday at the 2008 Entergy Conference USA Baseball Championship has been revised and is listed below.
FRIDAY
9 a.m. CDT - No. 3 Tulane vs. No. 7 UCF
12:30 p.m. CDT - No. 4 Houston vs. No. 8 UAB
4 p.m. CDT - No. 6 Marshall vs. No. 2 Southern Miss
7:30 p.m. CDT - No. 5 East Carolina vs. Houston/UAB loser
SATURDAY
9 a.m. CDT - Tulane/UCF winnner vs. Marshall/Southern Miss loser
12:30 p.m. CDT - Houston/UAB winner vs. East Carolina/UAB/Houston
4 p.m. CDT - Game 12
7:30 p.m. CDT - Game 13 (if necessary)
SUNDAY
TBA - Game 14 (if necessary)
1:00 p.m. CDT - Championship Game (CBS C)
This marks just the second time in the 13-year history of the C-USA Championship that a game was not able to be completed on its scheduled day. In 2005, the championship game was not able to be played due to torrential storms and lightning in the Hattiesburg, Mississippi area.
