FLORENCE, SC- East Carolina was one of 18 teams to have its second round of play halted by rain and lightning at the season-opening Raines Development Group Intercollegiate men's golf tournament at The Country Club of South Carolina on Monday.
With 36 holes slated for the opening day's action on the par 72, 7,062-yard course, each school completed its first round and only four finished the second 18 holes before weather forced all teams into the clubhouse.

ECU sophomore Warren Straub carded a one-under 71 on the opening 18 holes and completed the first round in eighth place, three strokes back of the co-leaders, Logan Blondell (Georgia Southern) and Andres Cuenca (Western Carolina).
Second round action will conclude beginning at 8 a.m. Tuesday with the third and final round to follow.
