WILMINGTON, N.C. --- East Carolina sophomore Jake Colley is tied for the individual lead after two rounds of play at the Seahawk Intercollegiate being held at the Country Club of Landfall.
Colley carded a five-under par 139 (70-69) on the first 36 holes and is Augusta State's Patrick Reed (68-71) for the lead. Augusta State's Henrik Norlander (70-71=141) and UNC Wilmington's Josh Brock (70-71=141) are tied for third, two shots off the lead.
As a team the Pirates are in fifth-place with a two-round score of 592 (293-299). Augusta State (280-289=569) leads the team standings by 19 strokes over second-place South Carolina (294-294=588). UNCW (293-296=589) is in third followed by Georgia State (297-294=591) in fourth.
ECU junior Warren Straub completed the first two rounds at seven-over (75-74=149), tied for 18th. Sophomores David Watkins (79-75=154) and Harold Varner (73-81=154) each finished the day at 10-over, while senior Matt Sterling carded a score of 12-over (75-81=156).
The final round of the tournament is scheduled to begin Tuesday morning at 8 a.m.
