GREENVILLE, N.C. - East Carolina officials have announced that the opening Conference USA series between East Carolina and Memphis scheduled for this weekend at Lewis Field inside Clark-LeClair Stadium has been altered due to potential inclement weather in the area.
The Pirates (16-4) and Tigers (11-8) will play doubleheader Saturday with game one starting at 10 a.m. and the second game to follow approximately 45 minutes after the completion of the opener. Friday night's game is still scheduled for a 6 p.m. first pitch.
Individuals that purchased Saturday game ticket(s) will be able to use those for entry into both games of the doubleheader. Tickets can be purchased in advance on line at ECUPirates.com or at the Clark-LeClair Ticket Office starting at 9 a.m. Saturday.
Note: The Little League Baseball Day that was scheduled from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 26 will be rescheduled for a later date. Any child who wears their little league jersey to either game on Saturday against Memphis will receive free admission when accompanied by an adult. Adults who attend the game with their child are eligible for a special promotion rate of $3 per ticket.
Revised Schedule:
Game 1: Friday, March 25 (6 p.m.)
Game 2: Saturday, March 26 (10 a.m.)
Game 3: Saturday, March 26 (approximately 45 minutes after the conclusion of the first)
