ECU To Play In 2014 Gulf Coast Showcase

ESTERO, Fla. - East Carolina will be one of eight men's teams from across the country that will visit southwest Florida next November for the Second Annual Gulf Coast Showcase at Germain Arena announced bd Global, the event organizer, Wednesday.
The 2014 event, scheduled for Nov. 24-26, also includes Evansville, Florida Gulf Coast, Fresno State, Green Bay, High Point, San Francisco and UNC Wilmington.
ECU will be playing in its third in-season tournament under coach Jeff Lebo after participating in the 2010 Charleston Classic and 2013 NIT Season Tip-Off.
The inaugural men's tournament concludes today, Wednesday, Nov. 27, with its championship game pitting Louisiana Tech vs. St. Bonaventure.
