Pirates Conclude Fall Season At ITA Regional Championships

CARY, N.C. -- The East Carolina men's tennis doubles team of senior Damien Brenard and sophomore Fredric Lehfeldt wrapped up play at the 2014 ITA Carolinas Regional Championships with a second round loss Friday.
Teaming up for the first time this season, Brenard and Lehfeldt picked up an 8-1 victory over the N.C. A&T duo of Brett Caban and Kyle Scott in round one to advance to the round of 32.
The ECU duo faced the Clemson tandem of Robert Kelly and Oystein Steiro in the second round and were blanked by the final 8-0 score.
Today's match wrapped up the fall season for the Pirates, which will begin their dual match season in early 2015.
