ECU Athletics Ticket Office Announces Three Exciting Initiatives

GREENVILLE, N.C. - The East Carolina University Athletics Ticket Office and partner Paciolan have teamed up to offer Pirate fans the latest technology to donate, transfer and receive their tickets through mobile delivery. The advances in customer service are currently in place and can be utilized immediately for ECU's football game against Connecticut.
The new features include:
Donate Unused Tickets to the Boys and Girls Club
Season ticket holders for football, men's basketball and baseball who are unable to use their tickets for a specific game can donate their tickets back to the Boys and Girls Club. Ticket holders can login to their account online and select the games and seats they would like to donate and the Boys and Girls Club will receive the tickets via email. This will allow them to distribute the tickets to kids throughout the Greenville area so they can have a memorable experience at a Pirate sporting event.
Ticket Transfer
Football, men's basketball and baseball season ticket holders also have the option to transfer their unused tickets to another fan through our Ticket Transfer Functionality. Ticket holders can login to their account online and select the games and seats they would like to transfer and the recipient of the transfer will receive a "print-at-home" version of the ticket via email.
Mobile Ticket Delivery
Fans who purchase single-game tickets now have the opportunity to have the tickets delivered their Smartphone. Barcodes will be displayed as a QR code that will be sent directly to the an individual's email account. The mobile tickets can be scanned directly off your phone upon entry into either Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium, Minges Coliseum or Clark-LeClair Stadium. Currently, mobile ticketing is available for single-game ticket purchasers for the remaining home football games as well as all future men's basketball and baseball games. Future plans include having ECU students utilize this technology to receive their tickets for sporting events.
