MISCELLANEOUS NOTES
?East Carolina won its 23rd consecutive game against non-Division I opponents and improved to 17-0 against such competition under coach Jeff Lebo.
?The Pirates have now scored 90 or more points in six of its last seven games against non-Division I opponents.
?Coach Jeff Lebo won his 50th game inside Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum. ECU is 50-24 at home since he arrived prior to the start of the 2010-11 season.
TEAM NOTES
?Five ECU players scored in double figures for the second time in three games (N.C. Wesleyan, Virginia-Lynchburg)
?The Pirates have scored 50 points in at least one half of each of the first three games this season. ECU scored 51 in the second half against both NC Wesleyan and UNC Asheville as well as 51 i n the first half tonight versus VUL .
?East Carolina grabbed 50 rebounds in a game for the first time since pulling down 59 against Chowan last season (Nov. 14, 2013)
?ECU held the Dragons to 28.4 percent shooting from the field. It was the lowest by an ECU opponent since Chowan made just 26.6 of its field goal attempts last season (Nov. 14, 2013).
?Fifteen of the 16 players on this year's team have played this season. Senior Paris Roberts-Campbell is the lone player to see action as he continues to nurse an injury.
INDIVIDUAL NOTES
?Freshman B.J. Tyson, junior Terry Whisnant and sophomore Caleb White each scored double figures for the third consecutive game. Whisnant led all scorers with 16 points, matching his career-high set against Auburn while at Florida State.
?Antonio Robinson handed out a career-best 11 assists. His previous career-high was six on two occasions. The last player to hand out double digit assists in a game was Miguel Paul with 11 against Evansville on March 30, 2013.
?Sophomore Michel-Ofik Nzege posted his second double-double in three games, finishing with 12 points and a career-high 13 rebounds in 25 minutes of action.
?Junior Prince Williams made his first start since Nov. 14, 2013 against Chowan.
?Junior Terry Whisnant tied his career-high with four 3-pointers. He also made four while at Florida State on the road at Auburn and in Tallahassee against North Carolina.
?Junior Michael Zangari made his season debut after missing the first two games due to a facial injury. He finished the game with five points and eight rebounds.
?Junior Keith Armstrong made his ECU debut. He scored two points and grabbed seven rebounds in seven minutes of action.Senior Francis Edosomwan and junior Peyton Robbins also saw their first action of the season. Robbins made his first career field goal with 16 seconds to play.
