
ECU Drops 4-2 Decision To UNC Asheville

GREENVILLE, N.C. - The East Carolina men's tennis team dropped to 1-3 on the season with a loss to UNC Asheville Sunday. After sweeping the doubles match point, the Pirates were only able to manage only win in the singles matches, dropping the overall match 4-2.
At No. 3 singles, Tendai Tapfuma posted the lone singles win for ECU on the day with a 6-3, 6-4 win over Josh Swindler. The other overall point for was won by sweeping doubles competition.
Tapfuma and Colin Roller defeated Brett Landau and Alex Croker at the No. 1 spot, 7-5. Ross Nigro and Fredric Lehfeldt defeated Thomas Panoulas and Reid Dillon, 6-4, at the No. 2 position.
