How It Happened:
Memphis' Overbey pushed across the go-ahead and would-be game-winner in the top of the ninth giving the Tigers a 3-2 win and a doubleheader split. Tucker Tubbs was hit by a pitch, took second on Chris Carrier's sac bunt and scored on Overbey's lone hit of the day - a shot to left field.
ECU jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the second frame thanks to Morgan's RBI triple. Watkins led off with a single up the middle, which was followed by Brooks' base hit to center. After Eric Tyler grounded into a double play, Morgan laced the three-bagger down the right field line easily plating Watkins from third.
Memphis took its first lead of the day, 2-1, in the top half of the sixth scoring a pair of runs on Tucker Tubbs' single to center. Zach Schritenthal started the frame when he was hit by a Boyd pitch. Darien Tubbs and Brandon Montgomery each followed when they reached on consecutive sac bunt errors by Wolfe loading the bases for Kane Barrow. ECU went to the bullpen and brought in Ingle, who fanned the first batter he faced before giving up a two-RBI single to Tucker Tubbs - both runs were credited to Wolfe.
The Pirates knotted the game at two-all in the seventh when Brooks darted home on a Myers wild pitch. Brooks drew a walk to start the inning, stole second and moved to third on Tyler's ground ball to second to move 90-feet away from pay dirt.
