
Pirates' Winning Streak Snapped By North Florida

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The East Carolina men's tennis team fell to 51st-ranked North Florida Sunday, 4-0, snapping the Pirates' seven-match winning streak.
Colin Roller and Tendai Tapfuma fell at No. 1 doubles, 6-4, to the UNF duo of Caio Gomes and Yannick Zuern following Patriek Wolterbeek and Nicolas Soriano loss at No. 3 doubles to Norbert Nemcsek and Julian Bradley, 6-1.
ECU dropped a trio of singles matches, while the other three went unfinished. Tapfuma dropped lost at No. 2 singles, 6-4, 6-0 at Nemcsek and Damien Brenard fell to Lasse Muscheites at the No. 4 position, 6-4, 6-3. UNCF clinched the match at No. 6 as Alberto De Meo defeated Roller, 6-4, 6-4.
