
Field Set For 2016 Greenville Regional Preview

GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina women's golf team is set to host the 2016 Greenville Regional Preview in Greenville, N.C. on Oct. 17-18 at the par-72, 6,122-yard Brook Valley Country Club.
The Pirates (37-7), who have won two consecutive team titles entering next week's event and are ranked No. 50 nationally by Golfstat, are joined in the 16-team field by (39) Augusta University, (53) Campbell, (60) Clemson, (90) Colorado State, (40) Denver, (68) Idaho, (10) Illinois, (89) Iowa, (69) Kansas State, (72) Mississippi State, (67) Middle Tennessee State, (44) Old Dominion, (32) Oregon, (54) TCU and (95) Virginia Tech.
East Carolina will use a line-up consisting of Lisa Pettersson (first hole), Siranon Shoomee (first hole), Dorthea Forbrigd (second hole), Kate Law (second hole) and Carley Cox (third hole). Cox earned the fifth and final spot beating out Catherine Ashworth and Grace Yatawara in a qualifying earlier in the week. Ashworth and Yatawara will participate in the event as individuals.
The two-day, 54-hole event will have 36 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday with a shotgun start beginning at 8:30 a.m. on both days. Pirate fans can catch all the live action by logging onto www.Golfstat.com.
