
ECU Baseball Ranked In Five National Polls

GREENVILLE, N.C. – After posting a 2-2 week, which included claiming its fourth-straight Keith LeClair Classic title over the weekend, the East Carolina baseball team found itself ranked in five national collegiate polls Monday afternoon.
The Pirates (8-3) garnered national rankings from D1Baseball.com - No. 16, USA Today Coaches - No. 19, Baseball America - No. 25, Collegiate Baseball - No. 28 and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association - No. 28.
ECU joins Houston (No. 21/BA, No. 25/NCBWA) and Tulane (No. 29/CB) as the only American Athletic Conference schools represented in this week’s national polls.
The Pirates will host George Mason (2-8) in a pair of midweek games this week at Lewis Field inside Clark-LeClair Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m. (EST) on Tuesday, Mar. 8 and Wednesday, Mar. 9.
