Donnewirth's Thoughts
"Our teams' compete level was fantastic tonight. It was harsh conditions with freezing rain which was brutal for both teams. We created a lot of good opportunities to score but we just didn't connect. Cincinnati is one of the top teams in the country and they've been nationally-ranked at points in the season. Michelle [Newhouse] made a great save stopping a penalty kick but they, [Cincinnati] scored their goal shortly after. Unfortunately, it's been the way our conference season has gone – not finishing on our opportunities. I have to give the team credit, with no postseason to play for they came out and played a heck of a game tonight."
