Men's Tennis Concludes Fall Season at Wake Forest

Winston-Salem, N.C. – The ECU Men's Tennis team finished the fall season this weekend at the Wake Forest Invitational in Winston-Salem, N.C. Javier Renones reached the semifinals of the B2 Singles draw going 2-2 in the draw to earn a fourth-place finish. Austin Allen won the C1 Singles Consolation bracket posting a 2-1 singles record.

In doubles action, Vlad Anghel and Ronny Georgi placed fourth in the A1 Doubles draw after defeating North Carolina's Kodali and Harrison in the opening match of the draw.

Coach's Comments
"It was a good way to finish the fall against arguably some of the toughest competition we have seen this fall," assistant coach Ian Van Cott said. "It was nice to see the guys step up under pressure in some tight situations and put into play some things we have been working on. This was a productive event for us and we are very much looking forward to competing in the spring."
