Donnenwirth's Thoughts
"They are a good team and they have a really good system of play that really made it difficult. They've got a lot of numbers in the midfield so they could play around us at times. Their forwards are so good that we really couldn't sacrifice putting another back forward so in the end they might have gotten a few great looks. I know their Dutch kid [Iris Achterhof] is really good. And the first half I thought was a little bit rough for us at times but the one thing that I thought was huge for us in this game is they didn't have a game all week and we had that Thursday game. I can tell our legs weren't quite there at times when they were pretty fresh. In the end, I am really proud of how the team just gutted it out. It was one of those gut it out, grind games and maybe at times they had some of the better play but in the end it was a game that could have went either way. I think in the very end we started getting some shots and some corners and had some momentum going. In the first half, they made us really work, and I give our girls a lot of credit."
