
Annah Lindberg Tabbed August Student-Athlete Of The Month

GREENVILLE, N.C. – ECU senior midfielder Annah Lindberg of the women's soccer program has been selected the Student-Athlete of the Month following an outstanding August athletically.

Lindberg has helped the Pirates to an unbeaten record at 4-0-1 – the best start in program history through five matches. She tallied her first career multi-goal effort in ECU's 2-1 victory at Davidson Aug. 25 and was tabbed to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll Aug. 28 as a result.

During the 2016-17 academic year, Lindberg completed 16 hours of community service.

The women's soccer team returns to action Thursday, Sept. 7, when the Pirates make the trip over to Raleigh for a non-conference showdown with NC State.
