Pirates Rout USF To End Three-Game Slide

RESULT
Five players scored in double figures to lead ECU to a 90-52 win over USF inside Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum to end a three-game losing streak and give the Pirates their largest margin of victory in a conference game in 48 years.

ECU opened the game on a 19-3 run and it was full steam ahead the remainder of the game. The Pirates built a 26-point halftime lead, 44-18, and led by as many as 42 in the second half.

ECU PLAYER-OF-THE-GAME
Kentrell Barkley posted his fourth double-double of the season scoring 18 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. He also tied the ECU record for steals in a game with seven, while dishing out a season-high seven assists. Barkley was 8-of-12 from the field, including 2-of-4 outside the arc.

USF PLAYER-OF-THE-GAME
Stephan Jiggetts was the only USF player to reach double figures scoring 15 points on 6-of-11 shooting, including 3-of-5 from outside the arc.

Freshman Shawn Williams scored a career-high 22 points to reach double figures in consecutive games for the first time since scoring double digits in three straight game during November and knocked down a career-best six 3-pointers … Junior Isaac Fleming posted his first career double-double with 10 points and 10 assists … B.J. Tyson reached double figures for eighth straight game, adding 11 points … Dimitrije Spasojevic scored double digits for the third time in four games, netting 10.
