GREENVILLE, N.C. – The ECU women's basketball team (9-9, 1-4) will return home to face Houston (15-5, 4-2) on Saturday at 5 p.m. (EST) from Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum.

Fans are encouraged to wear pink to the annual Play4Kay game. Admission will be free for all survivors and caregivers, while fans wearing pink will be granted a discounted $3 admission. The first 400 fans to enter at Gate 2 will receive a free t-shirt. The Pirates will hold a special halftime recognition for cancer survivors in attendance.

Freshman Ariyana Williams is averaging an ECU team-best 10.9 points per game. Senior Thais Oliveira is second on the team in scoring with 9.1 points per contest while also leading the team in rebounds with 6.5 per game. Junior Alex Frazier has recorded 74 assists on the season and is fifth in the conference with 4.1 assists per game. The Pirates lead the American Athletic Conference in offensive rebounds at 16.1 per contest.

Houston is led by sophomore Jasmyne Harris who is third in the AAC in scoring and leads the Cougars with 20.5 points per contest. Fellow Sophomore Angela Harris averages 13.5 points per game. Serithia Hawkins and Dorian Hawkins each average double-figures at 11.8 and 11.0 points per game, respectively. Houston's defense leads the conference in steals per game, averaging 12.0. The Cougars hold a 6-3 road record and are 3-0 in road conference games.

Saturday's contest marks the 19th time the two teams have met in the all-time series that dates back to 2002. The Cougars lead the series 11-7, while Heather Macy holds a 5-3 all-time record against Houston. The two have met two times each year since ECU joined the AAC in 2014-15. The Pirates have won six of the last eight contests.
