GREENVILLE, N.C. – The ECU women's basketball team (10-9, 2-4) will travel to Louisiana for a mid-week American Athletic Conference contest at Tulane (10-9, 2-4). Tip-off is set for 8 p.m. (EST) at Devlin Fieldhouse and will be aired on ESPN3.

Freshman Necole Hope was selected to the AAC weekly honor roll on Jan. 22 after posting a career-high 18 points and converting the game-winning layup in ECU's 80-78 win versus Houston this past Saturday.

Fellow freshman Ariyana Williams is averaging an ECU team-best 10.9 points per game. Senior Thais Oliveira is second on the team in scoring with 8.8 points per contest while also leading the team in rebounds with 6.9 per game. Junior Alex Frazier has recorded 74 assists on the season and is fourth in the conference with 4.2 assists per game. The Pirates lead the American Athletic Conference in offensive rebounds at 15.9 per contest.

Tulane is led by senior Kolby Morgan who is second in the AAC in scoring and leads the Green Wave with 21.4 points per contest. Junior Harlyn Wyatt leads Tulane with 6.5 rebounds per game and averages 7.9 points per contest. Tulane most recently defeated Tulsa 70-39 at home on Jan. 21, and is 6-3 at home this season.

Wednesday's contest marks the 23rd time the two teams have met in the all-time series that dates back to 1986. The Green Wave leads the series 16-6, while Heather Macy holds a 2-8 all-time record against Tulane. The two have met two six times since ECU joined the AAC in 2014-15. In the last meeting, Tulane defeated ECU 61-45 in Greenville on Dec. 31, 2016.
