GREENVILLE, N.C. – The ECU women's basketball team (14-12, 6-7) travels to Oklahoma on Tuesday to face Tulsa (9-17, 3-10) at 8 p.m. (EST) in Reynolds Coliseum. The two teams met on Jan. 10 when the Pirates defeated the Golden Hurricane 73-67 in Minges Coliseum.

The purple and gold are second in the American Athletic Conference in steals per game, averaging 11.0. The Pirates lead the conference in offensive rebounding with 396 on the season, an average of 15.7 per game

Freshman Ariyana Williams is averaging an ECU team-best 9.5 points per game. Senior Thais Oliveira is second on the team in scoring with 8.7 points per contest. In conference play, freshman Lashonda Monk is averaging a team-high of 8.8 points. Junior Alex Frazier is averaging 8.0 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.3 assists in AAC play.

Tulsa has lost nine of ten games since falling to ECU on Jan. 10. The lone victory in that span was at home against Houston, 83-77, on Feb. 10. Sophomore Shug Dickson averages a team-best 14.6 points per game. Senior Erika Wakefield is the only other Golden Hurricane player averaging double-digits at 10.2 points per game.

Tuesday's contest marks the 20^th time the two teams have met in the all-time series that dates back to 2006. The Golden Hurricane lead the series 10-9. Head coach Heather Macy holds a 6-6 all-time record against Tulsa. In the last meeting between the two on Jan. 10, 2018, Macy became ECU's all-time program wins leader with a 73-67 victory. The Pirates placed four players into double-figures with Destiny Campbell pacing the team with 19 points. Wakefield recorded 21 points for the Golden Hurricane.
