ECU Concludes Fall Schedule At Innisbrook Resort

GREENVILLE, N.C. --- The East Carolina men's golf team is set to conclude its fall season at the Intercollegiate at Innisbrook, Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 28-29.

The event will be played in Palm Harbor, Fla., at the Innisbrook Resort on the Copperhead Golf Course, site of the American Athletic Conference golf championships. Both Monday and Tuesday's rounds start at 8:15 a.m. on the par-71, 7,209-yard course.

Joining the Pirates are fellow American conference members Houston, Memphis, South Florida, Temple and Wichita State along with non-league foes Campbell, Delaware, Florida Gulf Coast, Hartford, Houston Baptist, James Madison, Maryland, USC Upstate and William & Mary.

The Pirates' lineup will consist of Blake Taylor, A.J. Beechler, Stephen Carroll, Tim Bunten and Patrick Stephenson with Jack Massei playing as an individual.

Taylor carded a 3-over par 216 on the course at the 2019 conference championships as did Stephenson during the 2018 league title event. Beechler, Carroll and Bunten joined the duo as a part of the Pirates' 2019 championship tournament roster where they combined to shoot 32-over-par 884.

Taylor leads ECU with a 70.00 stroke per round average and has two top-10 finishes in four events this fall.

ECU will play alongside Maryland and William & Mary in rounds one and two.
