ECU Set To Participate In Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational

GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina women's golf team continues its spring schedule this weekend heading to Greensboro, Ga., to participate in the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational. The three-day, 54-hole event is being held at the par-72, 6,134-yard Landing at Reynolds Lake Oconee.

The Pirates, who own a 42-39 record are ranked No. 62 by Golfstat, will be joined 14-team field by (22) Auburn, (26) Mercer, (61) Chattanooga, (88) North Florida, (100) Rutgers, (112) UNCW, (114) Delaware, (130) South Alabama, (156) East Tennessee State, (180) Albany, (195) Wofford (207) South Dakota State, (241) UNC Asheville and Daytona State.

ECU Head Coach CC Buford will use a lineup consisting of seniors Siranon Shoomee, Dorthea Forbrigd and Grace Yatawara along with junior Kathryn Carson and freshman Caroline Hermes. Freshman Oda Sofie Kilsti will play as an individual during the match.

The 54-hole event begins Friday, Feb. 21 with a 10 a.m. shotgun start followed by tee times at 11 a.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. on Sunday. Pirate fans can get updated scoring online at www.BirdieFire.com.
