The Pirates are making their eighth straight appearance at the event and 15th overall. It was their final event of the 2019-20 season before the spring sports were canceled due to the global pandemic. ECU has finished as runner-up three times (1998, 2001, 2012).Â

This will be the third tournament of the spring for the Pirates after finishing eighth at the Wake Forest Invitational earlier this month and placing 14th at the Kiawah Invitational in February.Â

Â
Senior Stephen Carroll owns the team's lowest scoring average through two events at 73.00 strokes per round. He has posted the Pirates' tournament low score in each of the first two tournaments. Junior A.J. Beechler is just behind with a 74.67 average.
Â
Â
Senior Tim Bunten and fifth-year senior Patrick Stephenson enter the weekend with a 75.17 scoring average each. Sophomore Chris Sperrazza will make his season debut on Sunday.
Â
Â
The tournament will be a three-day, 54-hole event on a par-72, 7,233-yard course. Rounds one and two will begin at 8:45 a.m. off both the No. 1 and No. 10 tees on Sunday and Monday with Tuesday's final round beginning at 8:15 a.m.Â
