Last Time Out
The Pirates winless streak stretched to four games with a 2-1 defeat against South Florida on Sunday in Johnson Stadium. Samantha Moxie opened the scoring with her first goal of the season but it was not enough as a PK in the 55th minute and a Haizea Aretxabala Blanco goal in the 81st gave the Bulls the lead and the victory.

Scouting the Knights
UCF enters the game on a tear, and deservingly receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches Poll. After opening conference play with a scoreless draw against Memphis, the Knights have run off four-straight wins including a 4-0 romp over Cincinnati and a 3-2 defeat of Tulsa last time out. Kristen Scott has led the way for UCF with eight goals scored and 18 total points. Mallory Olsson backs Scott up with five goals and an assist and Dayana Martin has contributed three goals and four assists. In goal, Carolina DeLisle is tied with Maeve English for the conference lead with six shutouts.
Â
Series History
UCF has controlled the series with a 13-3-3 lead dating back to the 2000 season. ECU has not won since 2018, including losing 2-0 at home a year ago.
Â
Quotable
"We are ready to set sail for a pair of crucial AAC matchups this week," said Head Coach Gary Higgins. "First up is the UCF Knights. UCF are a very talented and well coached team. They have some of the best players in the country and we are excited to test ourselves against them. They are sitting in first place in the standings, so we are hoping to go to Orlando and give them a really good game. We hope to make Pirate Nation proud!"
