GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina soccer will hit the road one more time on Thursday for a tilt with the George Mason Patriots. The game is set for 5 p.m. and will be available streaming on ESPN+.

Last Time Out
The Pirates pushed their unbeaten streak to four with a scoreless draw at VCU. Maeve English made four saves in the game as she, along with Abby Sowa, went on to win AAC weekly honors. With the win, ECU's clean-sheet streak also moved to four games, the longest streak since five straight in 2014.

Scouting the Patriots
George Mason enters the game with a 1-3-2 record. The lone victory came at home against Howard, 3-1. The Patriots have faced a tough schedule with two Power Five opponents in Virginia and Maryland, coming away with 3-1 and 3-0 losses, respectively.
Â
The Patriots earned a 6-11-1 record a year ago, including a 5-6 record in A-10 play.
Â
Series History
George Mason leads the all-time series 8-3-0, including a 5-1 mark at home. The lone Pirate road victory in the series came back in 2014 with a 2-0 margin. Recently, the series has taken an East Carolina turn with a 2-1 record in the last three; however, it was the Patriots who took seven of the first eight games dating back to 1994.
Â
Quotable
"We are on the road again this week to play a feisty George Mason team," said Head Coach Gary Higgins. "They have played some tough opposition early on and have represented themselves well. We will need to play aggressive and with intensity to get a result up there.
Â
"I have been very happy with my team's effort on the road the last two games. We have shown that we can compete and get results on the road. It is very important for us to avoid complacency now and hopefully we can add some quality on the offensive side of the ball. We are looking forward for another chance to compete and grow as a team. Thanks and Go Pirates!"
